Prerequisite: torch skills
 
In this workshop you will learn the technique of fusing 22K gold onto fine silver and the methods that allow you to apply it to Sterling Silver. This particular technique allows you to have more control over where the detail of your design will be accentuated with the application of gold. 
 
If you wish, bring one of your already completed pieces in Sterling Silver that you would like to embellish with gold accents. 
 
This is a fun workshop that will allow your creativity to flourish with the gold accents. 
 
Your tuition includes a materials kit (a $15 value) that will be provided by the instructor which includes: 
• Sanding sponges
• Brushes
• Small containers 
 
Bring your toolbox and the following items: 
• Aura 22 (22k Gold) (Rio Grande #600800)
• 2x2" piece of 22g Fine Silver sheet  (or larger)
• 1x1" piece (minimum) of 22g Sterling silver sheet
• Pre-made Sterling or Fine Silver pieces that you want to apply 22k Gold accents on
• Steel burnisher (Rio Grande #113023) or small to medium Agate Burnisher
• Medium to fine grit sandpaper (we suggest 220, 320, 400, 600 grit)
