Creating works of art in jewelry design involves more than fabrication. The sandblaster is a unique tool that can greatly expand your creative horizons, enabling you to add dimension and texture to metal , gemstones and cabochons, plus non-traditional materials such as glass and acrylic/plexiglass (clear, colored and opaque).
You will discover techniques to create patterns, imagery, and layered effects with a sandblaster. Suzanne has been using sandblasting techniques in her works of art for years. The opportunity to learn from her experience and insight is a workshop you do not want to miss.
A Materials Kit ($40 value) is included in your tuition and contains a plexiglass cutting pad, stencil materials, glass and pieces of brass and copper.
