Located in beautiful Littleton, CO, Denver Jewelry Studio was established in 2018 by owner, Judy Brown. Our incredible team is truly the heart of Denver Jewelry Studio. It’s their dedication, passion, and talent that keep students invested in the learning process.
Our instructors are pros in their field. When you come to DJS, you get hands-on experience with people who are industry professionals. We host many locally, nationally, and internationally recognized Metal Artists throughout the year.

Judy Brown, Owner & Founder
Judy has pursued jewelry-making for over fourteen years under the tutelage of many well-known jewelers including; Randy Burns, David Huang, Harold O’Connor, Travis Ogden, and Marne Ryan. She has won several awards for her work through the Colorado Gallery of the Arts in Littleton, Colorado, including Best of Show in 2014. Judy’s work has been sold in two prestigious Denver art galleries.

Prior to opening the studio, Judy taught classes at the Denver School of Metal Arts for several years, and had a 30+ year career in Accounting.
Judy’s previous career as an auditor and project manager never gave her time to be creative even though the desire was there. She was surrounded by the arts through her brother’s bronze sculptures and her husband’s fine art photography.

“I thought the arts had evaded me until I discovered metalsmithing. I love the textures found in nature and the ability to mimic them in manipulating metal. I’m a lifelong learner and I find it compelling to experiment with metals techniques.”
