Prerequisite: Intro to Prong Setting
Building on the fundamentals of prong setting, this advanced workshop focuses on the precision and finesse required for setting faceted stones in solitaire-style mountings. You'll refine techniques like seat cutting, stone alignment, and secure finishing.
Ideal for those with basic prong setting experience, this class will significantly elevate your stone setting capabilities and open up new possibilities for fine jewelry design.
The kit fee is $ 25 and is in addition to the tuition to be paid to the Instructor. It includes: 2 rings, one 6 prong and one 4 prong to be completed in class.

Bring your Metalsmithing toolbox, including the following items:

- Prong Setting Pliers (Otto Frei #146.346)
- 5.0mm Setting Bur (Rio Grande Item No. 341559 pack of 6 or OttoFrei $8.90 single)
